A
full-time professional indexer since 1990, I work primarily for
non-academic publishers such as Random House, Doubleday, HarperCollins,
and Hachette Books. My indexes include the series What Your Doctor May
Not Tell You About... (Hypertension, Menopause, Alzheimers, etc.), as
well as the Christiane Northrup books on women’s health. In 2006 I won
the ASI/H. W. Wilson Award for Excellence in Indexing. Under my maiden
name, I co-authored a book on plastic surgery: Two Girlfriends Get Real
About Cosmetic Surgery by Charlee Ganny and Susan Collini, with Francis
